Here’s the standard line on men: We’re simple, straightforward, limited—and usually perfectly happy to leave it there. Why? Because it keeps your expectations of us low. But here’s the single biggest thing women don’t get about men: Masculinity is a complicated performance we agree to in order to be seen as men. Unfortunately, that performance is more designed to conceal than reveal us. For instance, it’s easier and more “masculine” for us to talk about the great sex we had rather than describe the great conversation afterward. So, a woman ends up knowing the male script, but not the man. Breaking character, then, I give you (in random order) 10 things he wishes you knew about him.

1. Even Men Like Compliments Every Once in a While
Real guys, or so the story goes, don’t need praise. Especially not about girlish things, like if those jeans show off our assets. But the truth is, men enjoy a little well-intentioned objectification. A squeeze of the biceps and a lingering stare when we reach for the top shelf—these remind us of what attracted you to us and appeal to our Darwinian sense of selectivity (i.e., what keeps you choosing us over the other monkeys). It also makes it OK, even desirable, to send a little objectification your way, too. And just to be clear, the praise doesn’t need to be physical. In fact, it’s important that women commend those things masculinity tends to belittle, like if we’re good cooks or get passionate about foreign films. Tell us, too, when we’ve been a good father, a caring son or a helpful husband. Watch how much faster the toilet gets cleaned.

2. We Are Brutally Honest Because We Care
We know that, at times, tact can be the only four-letter word that doesn’t describe us, but women need to rethink their reactions to male candor. Men lie and obfuscate with people they have no interest in. The art of BS—and indulging others with their BS—is how we get through the day. But with you, lucky you, we want to forget all that. We want to tell you why your mother bothers us and how you can solve the problem with your high-maintenance friend. In a relationship, honesty is a young man’s mistake because the longer a man feels punished for it, the more he begins to censor himself. And that’s when you really need to worry.

3. You Should Appreciate Our Reliability
Similar to honesty, a good man demonstrates his commitment to you by showing up. So it’s more than a little irritating to hear about your fascination with the jerk who has mastered the art of illusion: He’s there, but not really. It’s a vicious cycle—the more men feel those guys get the benefits of your time and attention, the more incentive we have to become those guys. And that’s bad for both of you since more of those guys turn your illusion into our delusion.

4. Love Means Never Having to Be Attached at the Hip
We acknowledge the importance of couple time. We’d even go so far as to say that, in the best relationships, love that is asserted each day deepens and extends. Lost in this, however, is the belief that time spent enriching oneself also enriches partnerships. In other words, going on a hiking weekend with the boys does not diminish the bond we share. Like women need the affirmation of their girl friends, guys need the companionship of other men. This kind of solo time will refresh us and we’ll come back with more for you.

5. We Respect You as Females—and Love What Makes You Women
It is sad to say that equality in our times means adopting the worst of both sexes: Men get more sexualized and women can be cruder. And while no fair-minded guy wants women to return to the 1950s sitcom (although coming home to a roast chicken and a stiff drink ain’t bad as a fantasy), neither do we want the elimination of the feminine as a virtue. Don’t be ashamed to hold on to those things that make you different from us, like how you care about smelling nice or reminding us of empathy. That isn’t regressive; it’s just beautiful. To see the exception, read #6.

6. Be the Boss in the Bedroom
Two words: Unleash yourself. Express your fantasies. Use your hands along with your…imagination. Show us who’s boss and give us good directions—you already know we don’t do well asking for them. Your explanations will heighten our intuition and your pleasure.

7. Our First Commitment Is to Ourselves
One of the biggest complaints by women (for the second, read #8) is that men don’t commit. Right or wrong, men are raised to believe that a successful life hinges on self-fulfillment. Relationships, at first glance, seem to impinge on that. They make men nervous that the pursuit of happiness will become the path of missed opportunity. But men do come around to understand that true self-fulfillment depends on fulfilling another. What can you do in the meantime? Take a page from our script on this one and focus on your self-fulfillment, your own passions. This kind of healthy withdrawal will make pursuing you part of our happiness.

8. For Us, Seeing Is Believing
Want to know why men like sports? Pure, measurable success. At the end of the game, no one can dispute the number of touchdown passes or homeruns. An athlete works toward a goal and is rewarded with concrete proof of his effort. What is the irrefutable proof of a successful emotional life? Here, the data is less tangible. Men fear endeavors where success is vague because failure seems a likely result. In case you hadn’t noticed, we hate to fail. One way to take the failure out is to become his ally in those pursuits that bring him emotionally alive; his attempt at wholeness there will illuminate the great rewards of an emotional life elsewhere.

9. We May Lose Small Battles, but Always Remember the Wars We’ve Won
How important is putting the toilet seat down if the yard is mowed each week? Does it matter that an item was forgotten at the store when he checked off the rest? If he let the kid go to his friend’s with a stained shirt but made sure to spend time on his science project, is there a point to mentioning it? Women should remember to give credit where credit is due.

10. Fathers Are Just as Important as Mothers

It can seem, at times, that the world elevates the feminine over the masculine and that the lessons men can impart are outmoded or regarded as Neanderthal. But when a bully is picking on your son, your husband showing him how to throw a punch is not nonsensical. Or if your daughter has an athletic talent, his testosterone-fueled guidance may teach her more than just competitiveness. Honoring what men know based on their experiences is just as valuable to the young as the insights of women. Freely sharing his wisdom prevents imbalance, both in us and those we seek to help.

Rebounding in Kangoo Jumps stimulates osteoblastic bone rebuilding activity in the vertebral bodies and weight-bearing osseous structures of the pelvis and lower extremities. This is essential in the prevention of osteoporosis, especially in women. Kangoo Jumps provide individuals with a cutting edge comprehensive conditioning and rehabilitation system that is safe and effective.

Within only 2 weeks of stay in outer space, astronauts lose as much as 15% of their bone and muscle mass, as a result of the absence of gravity. Consequently, N.A.S.A. had to investigate how to reverse the process. Finally their studies came to the conclusion that “rebound exercise is the most effective and efficient form of exercise ever devised by man”

Cardiovascular

Rebounding with Kangoo Jumps provides a quick and easy aerobic effect to the body, especially the heart. Rebounding could practically be described as a “heart exercise”, since in using Kangoo Jumps your legs are the primary limbs physically active. It is easier on the heart to exercise the legs than the arms. Your heart has to work 250 % harder to pump the same amount of blood through your arms as it does to pump it through your legs. This is why people die while shovelling snow in Wintertime or playing tennis. Their arm movements are placing a tremendous burden on the heart muscle to deliver the oxygen and nutrients in the blood to the upper limb.
Dr. Morton Walker
Energy

Any kind of exercise will increase your energy level on a long run, because you train your body to work better and develop more mitochondrias, which are the powerhouses of the cells.

However most forms of exercise are strenuous, so that people who lack training will feel exhausted, even for the next day.

Having a non strenuous physical activity with Kangoo Jumps the way we recommend, that is only for short sessions and never exceeding your level of comfort, you will enjoy an incredible high level of energy right away and feel relaxed. Guaranteed.

Act as Natural Face Lift

Imagine holding a balloon filled with water while you bounce on your bed. Can you visualize what happens to the balloon? Each cell of your body is like this balloon. Rebounding puts them repeatedly under stress as they need to resist the increased G force (when the balloon reaches the maximum elongation). With time, the cell’s membrane get thicker, thus firmer, and gains elasticity. Your skin is a community of cells. Therefore, rebounding regularly with Kangoo Jumps will firm your skin and increase it’s elasticity.
Help fight depression & stress

It is a fact, stated over and over, Induce an immediate state of euphoria:
When anyone gets on Kangoo Jumps, you can observe an almost immediate big smile, expressing total happiness. This is because KJ awaken the inner child and induce a state of euphoria (which can be explained by the fast release of endorphins – called the hormone of happiness).
Kangoo Jumps are an excellent remedy to depression!

Dr. Morton Walker, in his book “Jumping for Health”, pages 82-91, describes 30 Specific Anti-stress Benefits of Rebounding (Avery Publishing Group Inc., Garden City Park, New York)

Promote ideal postural alignment and balance

Many practitioners report that the majority of their patients have very poor posture due to many factors which include the impact of sitting at computers, TV and other sedentary life style issues. There are also certain postural conditions associated with specific sport activities such as cycling, etc. Poor posture can have a negative effect on an individual’s health. Using Kangoo Jumps assures ideal posture by forcing your foot placement to be at the best possible angle directly below the pelvic girdle that ultimately supports the alignment of the whole body.
Many customers report that they find that they breathe in such a way to fill their lungs to capacity when using Kangoo Jumps. Thus, providing more oxygen for the brain, muscles, etc, to function at an optimal level. Some benefits that customers report are that they have more energy, faster response time to stimuli, longer attention span and that they feel more vibrant and alive.

Balance is an important issue and has become a frequent complaint from patients while speaking with their practitioner. Again, a more sedentary life style has influenced this issue. Consistent movement with properties that are identified as “Proprioceptive” is necessary to assure proper balance. Proprioceptive activity is defined as stimulating the spine and harmonizing all of the mechanoreceptors located in your extremity. Kangoo Jumps assure that optimum “balance” occurs in a safe and effective manner for individuals of all ages and activity levels.

KJ correct posture and naturally realign the body

Because of the rounded shape of their soles, Kangoo Jumps naturally prevents you from adopting bad postures. You automatically align your body in order to keep your balance.
Wits University in Johannesburg – South Africa, is in the process of conducting the most comprehensive study ever made with Kangoo Jumps (testing about 800 parameters!). The section on body posture is already finished. It shows pictures of reference subjects, before starting the KJ program and 3 months after. The differences are amazing!
A large portion of the population has chronic back pain, which, in most cases, is due to a bad posture. The use of Kangoo Jumps will in most cases eliminate (or at least alleviate) the pain and prevent it from recurring.

Most of us either pronate or supinate, to some degree. Look at the soles of your shoes: if the inner side is more worn, you pronate. If it is the outside portion, you supinate. When running, supination or pronation creates a rotation movement in your ankles and knees, which can become painful and create lesions.
A Swiss chiropodist scientific study shows that Kangoo Jumps correct pronation and supination conditions, however especially when the problem originates from the lower leg. This is quite logical to understand: Kangoo Jumps are about 6 inches higher than normal shoes and the soles are laterally flat. When you don’t land flat with the sole, you get the impression that you might twist our ankle. So we instinctively correct the foot position. However, when the problem originates from the upper leg (knee, hip), KJ cannot fully correct the condition.

PROTECTS JOINTS, MINIMIZE IMPACT UP TO 80%

Scientific investigations with regards to impact forces have reported that between 27% to 70% of runners or joggers get injured in the first year of after commencement of running. Some other sports show similar results.

These factors indicate the importance of Impact Protection.

Kangoo Jumps, with their patented Impact Protection System, reduce the impact up to 80%, as confirmed by 3 distinct scientific studies. Below you can see a chart from one study that compares individuals using normal footwear during exercise versus individuals using Kangoo Jumps. This graph is taken from a study that was done at the

Consequently, Kangoo Jumps are the Worlds’s Lowest Impact Shoes.
Their impact reduction also significantly enhances the healing process after sport injures or surgery, relieves pain, and provides the opportunity to exercise in a way that will also alliviate some of the symptoms of diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, etc.
Your Spine. Eliminate most back pain

Kangoo Jumps, due to the inherent nature of their design, encourage proper posture in order to maintain balance and coordination while performing aerobic exercises or running. The balance involved while using Kangoo Jumps, which is very safe and easily mastered, stimulates the spinal and extremity joint mechanoreceptors which are essential for proper balance and proprioceptive skills. Pronation and supination are greatly reduced due to the fact that foot placement is dynamically influenced by balance which forces the patient into a conscious gait pattern.

Rebounding with Kangoo Jumps has a positive influence on spinal and intervertebral disc health by providing maximum spinal imbibition. This, of course, is essential for the proper transfer of nutrients into the disc and the removal of metabolic waste products out of the disc, thereby maintaining and restoring intervertebral health and function.
Weight Loss

“I hadn’t been able to jog or attend aerobic classes for years due to my knee surgery and excess weight. It really feels great to be able to exercise again and to have so much fun at the same time”

Forget Crazy Diets!

Using Kangoo Jumps for only a few minutes every day helps to develop that balance between food consumption and exercise. So forget crazy diets

Rebound exercise has been found to be the most effective way to “re-prime the pump” and keep it going, due to the up & down swinging in a low impact environment, like with Kangoo Jumps.

The lymphatic system also monitors our metabolism.

As we get older, we seem to put on more weight, which becomes harder and harder to lose.

Studies have shown that our base metabolic rate, which is the rate that our bodies burn calories, decreases as our lymphatic system becomes less efficient.

As we regularly use Kangoo Jumps, our base metabolic rate will become increasingly more efficient, resulting in noticeable improvements in our muscle tone, and weight management. In fact, we are actually re-training each cell to perform as it did when we were younger. Once we have re-set our metabolism, we will burn more calories at a higher rate, and will not regain weight, if we continue using Kangoo Jumps.

Your daily gentle workout will be most enjoyable listening to music. You can learn Kangoo Jumps basic steps and much more from our video “Home Fitness & Weight Loss”.

While we stress the importance of eating a balanced diet, we are actually more concerned with adding a pleasurable, non strenuous exercise element to your life, with Kangoo Jumps.

University studies show clearly that you spend much more energy, or calories, using Kangoo Jumps, compared to usual sport shoes. However, this alone does not explain the dramatic weight loss stated by people who have been using Kangoo Jumps regularly.

The secret lies in the lymphatic system. The lymph is the liquid which circulates in-between our cells, to carry the wastes and toxins, out of our body, keeping it healthy.

Most of us are unaware that our bodies contain four times as much lymph fluid as blood. However our lymphatic system, which is also our immune system, does not have a pump, like the heart, to keep its liquid in motion. It depends on our natural movements for circulation! If we don’t move enough, excess levels of toxin actually clutters our lymphatic system and “poisons” our cells. In some places the lymph fluid actually crystallizes into cellulite, which many of us know is hard to eliminate.

However most forms of exercise are strenuous, so that people who lack training will feel exhausted, even for the next day.

Hi,
Since March 2005, I used Kangoo Jumps boots and I lost more than 15 pounds.
I own all of your kangoo jumps DVDs. I have “Urban Rebounding” DVDs and I used the boots instead of rebounder trampoline. I felt more comfortable to wear boots than rebounder trampoline while I exercised. Thank you.

Sincerely,

I am absolutely hooked on the kangoos and I would not contemplate running in anything else. I have no background in fitness; I am an ordinary relatively fit person, but I have never liked jogging because of the bad effect it had on my neck and lower back.
Years ago I purchased a rebounder but found jumping on the spot rather tedious. When I came across the kangoos
I thought I found the perfect tool to get fitter without being bored: I could rebound and at the same time be outside in the park and on the move!
I have been using them only for a couple of months and I am enjoying them so much that the benefits I get out of them are outweighing the initial embarrassment of seemingly being the only one in them! (Although yesterday I was at a party and somebody told me there is another girl jumping in the Clapham area!)
The last couple of times I used them, I ran 10 km which for a new runner like me is a great achievement.
In fact I am thinking of running the marathon next year, as you gather the kangoos are sold to me!

”I hadn’t been able to jog or attend aerobic classes for years due to my knee surgery and excess weight. I’ve lost over 35 pounds in the past five months and it really feels great to be able to exercise again and to have so much fun at the same time.”

People ask me about the Kangoo Jumps all the time and have inquired over the years as to how to sell them!- they enable me to walk without pain (I have 5 herniated disks in my back and neck and bad knees).
It has been more than 7 years ago that I bought a pair of Kangoo Jumps for myself and my daughter at Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego. The kiosk is LONG gone, my daughter has outgrown her’s, I still wear them regularly. and people stop me all the time!

Many thanks!

Hi
I have kangoojumps and now I am in online business. We sell medical supplies and medical equipment and I would like to put your banner on our website because I think your product is great.
I had a car accident 6 month ago and now I can only run with kangoojumps and they are great.

Thank you.

Got my Kangoos today and despite the British weather (lots of rain) I decided to brave it out and give them a go. Being 6ft 3″ without the shoes I feel like a giant in them but they were superb, and a quick go round the block soon turned into a 7 mile run.

I didn’t have the knee support on that I usually wear with my other running shoes and I didn’t have the slightest twinge what so ever on my bad knee.

I think I am probably the only person with a pair around here as boy did everyone stare and look at them as I was running. No end of kids / teenagers I passed asked me where I got them from and commented, “They are mint”.

I can’t wait to go running in them again. :

Forgot to tell you and Denis my greatest testimony. Prior to using the KJ’s, I had injuries in my right knee and hip, which prevented me from running. In addition, I have a herniated disc in my lower back which causes Sciatica in the nerve running down the back of my leg. I was unable to jog or run without pain in the knee and hip, so I ceased from running for about two years. Since purchasing and using the KJ’s, I no longer have any pain in my knee or hip, and the disc in my lower back no longer causes any problems. Mind you, that I run everyday outdoors for an hour at an aerobic pace of 140-150 BPM. I can only contribute this rehabilitation to the KJ’s, which I believe have strengthened the muscles, joints, and ligaments in these areas. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results, and happy that I can once again enjoy running pain free!

Dr. Dan U.S.A.
The only way I jog is with Kangoo Jumps. One day, I hope to see Kangoo Jumps in my local Sports store.

I am very happy that Kangoo Jumps is still improving and experimenting with the design. I feel lucky that your company exists – KJs allow me to run without damaging my back.
My KJs are one of the most important things I own!

Regards,

Eugene Morrow (AU)

After breaking my knee, I was told I had to stop running forever. Kangoo Jumps have allowed me to continue running. I would be happy to do anything to help you improve your product, they are an absolute must for me!
Like I said Kangoo Jumps have meant the difference between being able to continue a life time of running and never running again. I would be honored if you use my testimonial. Please let me know if you need more info on what happened.
I am a city manager. I manage the City of Angels Camp, Calaveras County, California. In addition, I am a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. Last year I completed a two year assignment as a battalion commander. Kangoo Jumps helped me train for the Army Physical Readiness Test where I surpassed the maximum score and set the record for my unit. Believe me that was no easy task for a 44 year old man, and given my knee injury, it would have been impossible without the Kangoo Jumps.

Tim Shearer USA

I wanted to share with you a brief testimony of my results using Kangoo Jumps. Prior to using the KJ’s, I had been an avid trail runner for many years. I had experienced significant pain in my lower back (L4-L5) region, and an MRI confirmed that I had a degenerative, herniated disc, which was pressing on my sciatic nerve causing a condition known as Sciatica. Since my condition was degenerative, there was no prognosis for recovery. In addition, I had to discontinue all running, as I had incurred injuries to my right knee and hip which were exaggerated by my running. I discontinued running for a period of 2 years, at which point I discovered your wonderful product. I must admit that I was skeptical upon first seeing the Kangoo Jumps, but was desperate to find a way to resume running. It has been 4 months since I have purchased the KJ’s, and I cannot offer enough praise for this product. Not only have I been able to resume running, but I have done so completely pain-free! I can only contribute my rehabilitation to the KJ’s, as they have strengthened the muscles, joints, and ligaments in the areas where I had experienced injuries. I run approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours daily on the KJ’s at an aerobic pace of 150-160 BPM. I run on pavement, trails, and professional track and the KJ’s are always up to the challenge. I have never enjoyed exercise this much in my life, where I actually seek every opportunity I can to use the KJ’s. I have recommended them to my patients, and they have been pleased with the results as well. Furthermore, I wish to express my appreciation to both Sue and Denis at the Head Office for their excellent customer support. I will continue to be an avid supporter of Kangoo Jumps, and offer cheers to the Kangoo Jumps team for the creation of this wonderful product as well as their ongoing commitment.

Vegetable juice does not raise insulin levels like fruit juice. The only exception to this would be carrot or beet juice which function similarly to fruit juice. Nevertheless, fruit juicing is certainly better for you and your children than drinking soda, which is a very bad idea.

Why should I juice vegetables rather than eat them whole?
Many of us have relatively compromised intestines as a result of poor food choices over many years. This limits our bodies’ ability to absorb all the nutrients from the vegetables and juicing tends to facilitate this absortion.

Also, vegetable juicing allows you to eat more of the vegetables than you normally would otherwise. By incorporating the juice into your healing diet, you will easily be able to reach the roughly 1 pound of raw vegetables per 50 pounds of body weight that is generally recommended we should eat every day.

What do I do with the leftover pulp when vegetable juicing?
Ideally it would be best to mix the pulp in with the juice and eat it, since it is high in fiber. The fiber helps to move the bowels rapidly and also serves as fertilizer for the good bacteria present in the colon.

Can I make my vegetable juice in the morning and drink it later in the day?
Although this is much better than not drinking vegetable juice at all, juice is best drank freshly juiced. Vegetable juice is one of the most perishable foods there is and ideally it would be best to drink all of your juice immediately. However, if you are careful you can store your vegetable juice for up to 24 hours with only a moderate nutritional decline.

You can do this by putting the vegetable juice in a glass jar with an airtight lid and filling it to the very top. There should be as little air in the jar as possible because it is the OXYGEN in air that will “oxidize” and damage the juice. Think of a cut apple turning brown when exposed to air.

It’s a good idea to use an opaque container to block out all light which would also damage the juice and then store it in the refrigerator until about 30 minutes prior to drinking since ideally the juice should be consumed at room temperature.

What type of vegetables should I juice?
Celery + fennel + cucumbers is a good combination that is easily tolerated by those just starting out with juicing.

Unfortunately these are not as beneficial as the more intense dark green vegetables. Once you get used to these though you can start adding the better, but perhaps less palatable ones in.

Green LEAFY vegetables are the best to use in your vegetable juicing program. All green leafy vegetables work well. The easiest ones to use include all the lettuces including, but not restricted to:

Red leaf lettuce
Green Leaf lettuce
Romaine lettuce
Escarole lettuce

You can then put in some of the other similar green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale and cabbage.

Cabbage juice is one of the most healing juices when it comes to repairing an ulcer as it is a huge source of vitamin U.

Herbs also make wonderful combinations. Parsley and cilantro are great in vegetable juice. (My favorite source for organic cilantro in 1 pound bags and other organic herbs is here.)

One important note about the TASTE of vegetable juice
One major objection people raise when talking about vegetable juicing is the TASTE. They can’t stand it. I try to get my 9-year old son to drink “green juice”, which is a challenge, and so I have to get creative… THERE IS A SOLUTION: I highly recommend you use a few seedless grapes in your vegetable juice. It’s a fantastic way to improve the taste of your juice. Adding 2-3 apples also works well.

You can get more ideas for juicing on the juicing recipes page. There are also many juicing books which can help you put together a solid juicing program.

You must rotate the vegetables you are using in your vegetable juicing program!
It is very important to not have the same vegetables every day. the chances are quite high that if you keep juicing the same vegetables for any significant length of time you will become allergic to them. Variety is king.

What type of juicer can I use in my juicing program?

Click here to see how to select a juicer that will meet your needs.
Cleaning up your juicer is important
It’s important to clean your juicer immediately after you juice to prevent it from contaminating the juicer with mold growth. I like to regularly clean my juicer by dropping a few drops of bleach in my juicer, running it for a minute and then rinsing it thoroughly.

Because vegetable juice has virtually no fat and no protein in it, it’s a good idea to balance the meal by adding some essential oils when you juice as well as some protein supplement to make the meal more balanced. I find the lowest price for high quality liquid amino acids on the internet is here.

Adding essential oils to your vegetable juice
There are 4 basic supplements you could use:

Fish Oil (EPA/DHA) (source of omega 3 fatty acids)
Flaxseed oil (source of omega 3 fatty acids)
Cod Liver Oil (has vitamin D and vitamin A in addition to the EPA/DHA of fish oil.)
Evening Primrose Oil (source of omega 6 fatty acids)
Juicing as a way of fasting
Consuming nothing but fresh, diluted juices from various fruits and vegetables for a day or more is a safe and helpful form of fasting. I believe that juice fasting actually works better than a straight water fast, because it helps to eliminate wastes, old or dead cells while building new tissues with the easily accessible nutrients from the juices. The more drastic water fast is more intense, often resulting in more sickness and less energy, than fasting with fruit and vegetable juices. Paavo Airola, one of the pioneers of fasting in America, states in his book “How to Get Well” that “systematic undereating and periodic fasting are the two most important health and longevity factors.”

When juicing, always make sure to use clean filtered water as you do not want chlorine to be a part of your diet.

There is an unfortunate tendency in the U.S., and in U.S. doctors, to look for health in drugs and medications, instead of natural methods which support the body and PREVENT disease, such as juicing. Of course pharmaceutical companies don’t make any money by telling you to eat your greens. You can find out more about the medical establishment in the United States and how public relations firms shape and manipulate the public’s beliefs on the “Why you believe what you believe” page.

The moment it becomes no less than amazing is when we understand what happens as the body is placed under the demands of movement and resistance we call exercise. Rebounding is an effective exercise that reduces your body fat; firms your arms, legs, thighs, abdomen, and hips; increases your agility; strengthens your muscles overall; provides an aerobic effect for your cardiopulmonary systems; rejuvenates your body when it’s tired, and generally puts you in a state of mental and physical wellness. In fact, there are at least 33 fascinating ways the body responds to regular rebounding, detailed below:
1. Rebounding provides an increased G-force (gravitational load), which strengthens the musculoskeletal systems.

2. Rebounding protects the joints from the chronic fatigue and impact delivered by exercising on hard surfaces.

3. Rebounding helps manage body composition and improves muscle-to-fat ratio.

4. Rebounding aids lymphatic circulation by stimulating the millions of one-way valves in the lymphatic system.

5. Rebounding circulates more oxygen to the tissues.

6. Rebounding establishes a better equilibrium between the oxygen required by the tissues and the oxygen made available.

7. Rebounding increases capacity for respiration.

8. Rebounding tends to reduce the height to which the arterial pressures rise during exertion.

9. Rebounding lessens the time during which blood pressure remains abnormal after severe activity.

10. Rebounding assists in the rehabilitation of a heart problem.

11. Rebounding increases the functional activity of the red bone marrow in the production of red blood cells.

12. Rebounding improves resting metabolic rate so that more calories are burned for hours after exercise.

13. Rebounding causes muscles to perform work in moving fluids through the body to lighten the heart’s load.

14. Rebounding decreases the volume of blood pooling in the veins of the cardiovascular system preventing chronic edema.

15. Rebounding encourages collateral circulation by increasing the capillary count in the muscles and decreasing the distance between the capillaries and the target cells.

16. Rebounding strengthens the heart and other muscles in the body so that they work more efficiently.

17. Rebounding allows the resting heart to beat less often.

18. Rebounding lowers circulating cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

19. Rebounding lowers low-density lipoprotein (bad) in the blood and increases high-density lipoprotein (good) holding off the incidence of coronary artery disease.

20. Rebounding promotes tissue repair.

21. Rebounding for longer than 20 minutes at a moderate intensity increases the mitochondria count within the muscle cells, essential for endurance.

22. Rebounding adds to the alkaline reserve of the body, which may be of significance in an emergency requiring prolonged effort.

23. Rebounding improves coordination between the propreoceptors in the joints, the transmission of nerve impulses to and from the brain, transmission of nerve impulses and responsiveness of the muscle fibers.

24. Rebounding improves the brain’s responsiveness to the vestibular apparatus within the inner ear, thus improving balance.

25. Rebounding offers relief from neck and back pains, headaches, and other pain caused by lack of exercise.

26. Rebounding enhances digestion and elimination processes.

27. Rebounding allows for deeper and easier relaxation and sleep.

28. Rebounding results in better mental performance, with keener learning processes.

29. Rebounding curtails fatigue and menstrual discomfort for women.

30. Rebounding minimizes the number of colds, allergies, digestive disturbances, and abdominal problems.

31. Rebounding tends to slow down atrophy in the aging process.

32. Rebounding is an effective modality by which the user gains a sense of control and an improved self image.

33. Rebounding is enjoyable!

People who rebound find they are able to work longer, sleep better, and feel less tense and nervous. The effect is not just psychological, because the action of bouncing up and down against gravity effectively stimulates the lymphatic system without trauma to the musculoskeletal system. This unique discovery is central to the reasons Rebounding has become one of the most beneficial forms of exercise ever developed.
