Having come from a gymnastics background, Damon not only understood the advantages of staying in shape, but also practiced eating well in hopes of building higher levels of energy. It wasn’t until 1996, while working at a department store part-time, attending dietetics classes in college, and working in the school gym and at the spa in Manhattan that he realized his future career was to be in fitness. “Nothing feels as good as helping people achieve their fitness goals, whether it be losing weight, gaining weight, or just being able to get out of bed again after suffering from a stroke, I truly am blessed to do what I love!”

He then developed a cross-training style he called Focus Fitness, where the concentration was more on breathing, stretching and the heart rate while performing a series of activities. This was the first of many techniques he has developed over time. He then shared his techniques with clients forming HomeFitness by Damon in 2001. He went on to start a successful nutrition website selling high-end supplementation and nutritionals. Sculpting his own body with through training, discipline, and his nutritionals he went on to compete in one of the biggest bodybuilding shows in New York, the Metropolitan Classic, where he took 3rd in his class.

Over the years Damon has worked with clients from a multitude of backgrounds from celebrities to health professionals. He has trained clients everywhere from Central Park in NYC to South Beach, Florida. His diversity and ability to communicate and understand the stages of wellness granted him the opportunity to expand his business, hiring certified trainers and massage therapist to service his clients.

He now resides in Manhattan and has huge dreams of building a network of Home Fitness Professionals across the country. Fitness consultants that are tested and screened insuring the quality of service Home Fitness Professionals are known for. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come!
